Dr Jess Loh is a Malaysian involved in the creative arts in Australia. She was was born in Kuala Lumpur and picked up the guitar at the age of 13. She started playing in the church band and doing occasional shows while in school but her moment came when she moved to Melbourne in 2009. The turning point came when she had to move to the central Gippsland for her first year of medical school, missing family and the familiar. She rediscovered her love for performance making YouTube covers. Songwriting followed. She has cut two EPs and performed in numerous venues in Melbourne.
