Alvaro is the Deputy Chair of the Board.
He has over 20 years’ experience in commercial planning and strategy within the corporate sector, including serving 10 years at Qantas. Alvaro is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at RecycleSmart, a logistics company working within the Circular Economy space. He worked for several years in the not-for-profit sector, delivering funding strategies to ensure the sustainability of the organisations he worked for. Originally from Spain, Alvaro has lived in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor’s in Law from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, an Executive MBA from the University of New South Wales and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
