Dr Mimmie Watts is an Associate Professor at Federation University, Australia, and an associate in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. She is on the Editorial/Advisory Boards of the East African Journal of Health Sciences and the WAGEDI-GUU International Journal for Sustainable Development. Dr Watts chairs the Australian African Academic Network and is a Member of the African Science & Innovation Council (ASRIC) with the African Union. She is the convenor of the African Diaspora Women Summit.
